Mauban - Tayabas 230 KV Transmission Line Project

Transmission line delivers 440 MW of electrical power from the Coal-fired Quezon power plant at Mauban, Quezon to a 230 KV/ 115 KV substation at Tayabas, Quezon. There were ninety-one (91) towers, ten (10) steel poles and thirty (30) kilometers of stringing work.

Miescor conducted feasibility study and detailed engineering for the transmission towers lines and substation.

Miescor was tasked to provide detailed engineering and project management on distribution lines.

Sta. Rita - Calaca 230 KV Transmission Line

Miescor conducted pre-engineering, system design and planning, aerial survey, and spotting of transmission towers.

Transmission Line

230 KV Quezon Power Transmission Line

Miescor has entered its seventh year of maintaining the 35km, 230kV, double circuit Mauban-Tayabas transmission line for Quezon Power Ltd. It was also Miescor, as a subcontractor of BECHTEL, that undertook the engineering and construction works for the transmission line, and it is for Miescor's consistently strong performance - never has the line tripped - that Quezon Power that has continued to renew its maintenance contract with Miescor.

Dasma-Imus-Zapote Transmission Line

Miescor undertook special foundation works, erection of 50/56m steel with 3m diameter base and stringing of double circuit bundle of four 795 MCM conductors for National Power Corporation.

Casecnan-San Miguel 230kV Transmission Line (Schedule I & II)

Miescor handled the erection works for the 89km transmission line of National Power Corporation in three schedules (foundation, erection, dressing, and stringing).

Sucat-Araneta-Balintawak Transmission Line

Miescor completed the 230kV, 90km transmission line foundation, tower erection and stringing works for Asea Brown Boveri.

Kalayaan-Naga Transmission Line

Miescor completed the 500kV transmission line Sec 151km Kalayaan Substation Tower 167 SecIV 45km. Tower 438 foundation, erection and stringing works for National Power Corporation.

Distribution Line

San Roque Distribution Line



The San Roque distribution line is sited in barangay San Roque, San Manuel, Pangasinan, and is being undertaken by Miescor as part of a larger power facility being built by Raytheon Ebasco Overseas Ltd. for the National Power Corporation. Miescor started engineering work in 1998 and the construction of the 13km line itself in 1999. This fiscal year Miescor has been further contracted for the installation of load break switch, tailrace span segment, and retirement of phase conductors.
